About the GMT-Master/Master II
The Rolex GMT-Master range was created to help 1950s jet airliner pilots track two timezones at once. The basic design with 40mm sizing has barely changed since, but has devolved into many metal and colour combinations. This waterproof watch is available in steel, 18kt gold, white gold, rose gold, and combinations of steel and gold/rose gold.
